| For a bar situated in a station, this place is not too bad, although be prepared for some of the clientelle to be a bit rough and ready. Colour scheme adopts the common cop out of painting the whole place nicotine brown to avoid having to re-do it in a year's time. The nicotine theme continues at busy times with overflowing ashtrays and a prevailing haze of smoke wafting around. Decent selection of beers though, and one of the increasing number of pubs I've visited that offered breakfast (as part of the food selection, that is.) I had a pint of Black Sheep at £2.04, visited the bog, and was so surprised by the cleanliness and general state of them that I peed all over the floor to return them to the standard I'm used to in Railtrack premises. | |
