York Camra - The official site. Who constantly ignore my requests to link with them! And so I return the compliment.
The First Hussar - There's a lot more going on in The First Hussar than I can tell you in this guide, so check the detail for this pub on what is a well designed and informative site.
The Last Drop Inn - York Brewery's pub. Will they still slag off the big pubco's when they're the size of Wetherspoons?

The Blue Bell - One of York's most respected real ale boozers.
The York Brewery - Still haven't forgiven them for brewing a beer called "Goodbye Jock" to mark the most recent Scotland/England European football fixture, but this is their site and it tells you where to find their brewery and beer in York.
The York Beer and Wine Shop - I haven't visited the shop, but the website looks good!
Beer-ritz - National Beer Off-Licence of the Year 2000. On-line ordering, so make that 24 cans of Kestral please.
The Royal Oak - Website of the pub, with information and history. Think this link is now inactive. Anyone know where it's gone?
Ha Ha Canteen - Website of the chain, requires Flash and God knows what else to view. Can you be bothered? I couldn't.
Slug and Lettuce - Flashy, corporate, and was so slow at loading I gave up.
The York Pub Guide - Credit where it's due, I think this is actually a better site than mine! You can even write and submit your own reviews - but then, if I wanted your opinion, I'd give it to you.
York LinksA Complete Guide to York, England - This is the best place to start for further links and information on the city.
This is York - York's Evening Press site, the exhaustive content can't be faulted, except that there is just so much information you don't know where to start. Very busy site that will keep your browser on its toes.
York Index - Another great local site that packs in a load of information.
City of York - A good site for both tourists and business people which includes Maps, Accomodation Guide, Shopping Info. and What's On, to highlight a few of the features.
York Online - Independant and interesting guide to the city that tells you what's going on.
York Youth Hotel - Not the hostel (as I originally misread it!) but a city centre hotel that welcomes backpackers, families, schools etc.. Looks good value.
York Backpackers - Affordable accomodation in York, boasting Dungeons Bar, "probably best selection of world beers in York."
Red and Blue Net - The best football site for York City FC.
Scarborough - Visiting the coast? Visit this interesting and informal site for reviews, pictures and pubs.
Poppleton Net - The website of my local village, which has loads of useful links and information about the Net.
Fiesta Mehicana - Interesting and informative site on York's best Mexican restaurant. Owner is annoyed that I listed him under "Tex-Mex" in my restaurant guide though!
Russells Restaurant - one of York's best carvery's, never disappoints.
City Screen - offers a more eclectic choice of films than the Hollywood sausage machine fodder found at Warner's Village.
Theatre Royal - For all you luvvies out there. And Jim Davidson.
Yorkboat - Take a tour on the Ouse, drink some booze, find your muse.
Cornish Pasty Bakery - I've never tried these, but their shop looks full of delicious stuff.
Electronic York - Independant Website offering a local's review of pubs, restaurants etc. Claims to be the best of its kind. No comment.
Up For It! - irreverent York and district pub mag that has gone on-line. Dubious jokes, pictures and information, but good fun.
Virtual Tourist - not specifically about York, more about The World. But I found the personal reviews submitted by people who have been to various tourist destinations really useful.

Fullers Brewery - deserve a link on the strength of their Summer Ale alone.
The Beerhunter - This guy knows his beers of the world. Unfortunately he knows he knows his beers of the world, and this "I Am the Font of Beer Knowledge" reeks off the pages. Possible "Pub Bore of the Universe".
