| This is one of York's most respected pubs - for real ale drinkers. Unprepossessing from the front, it's even less so inside, but you're here for the beer after all. The Malting's regularly wins various press "Pub of the Year/Region", and serves a multitude of ales and guest beers that rotate regularly. They also seek out some of the best foreign beers and lagers too, so you're spoiled for choice.
