| Overlooking the River Ouse, you can have a quieter pint here on the balcony than in the King's Arms, the only other place in York you can drink in the open air by the riverside. The beer is better here though. Problem with this place is that it's a bit out the way, looks way too big to be a pub and often prompts the major question, "Is it open"? By the time you've decided it is, you're sitting at the King's Arms. | |
