| I entered this pub expecting it to be small, quiet and shy - that's how it looked from the outside. Well, looks can be deceiving, and they should rename this pub "The Tardis". It is almost three times as big on the inside as I'd expected. They've a disco installed, and advertise music almost every night, from Northern Soul to Dance and Party. God help us. I counted eleven cabinets displaying bottled beers and vodka drinks - Moscow Mule, Hooch, Metz, Pure 6 etc. etc.. I asked them to pull a pint of Tetley's - the only hand-pulled available - and it was off. I got Creamflow instead. I visited on a quiet Friday afternoon, but saw enough to be able to imagine Friday night. I immediately got a headache. | ||
