| Enjoying splendid views of the back end of the Minster, this big pub on the corner of
Goodramgate has to work hard to pull in the punters from a lot of decent places nearby. Not sure if a disco on
a Tuesday night is the answer, but they have nights with live music too. Similarly cask ales sit alongside the
yoof drinks like Aftershock and Moscow Mule. If you're out round this side of town with a big group, this place
will keep most of them happy. (Perhaps the close location of the Minster has something to do with the pub's name.) |
