| A Bass Heritage Inn, this means it's quite nice on a first visit, but quite samey
if you've been to other Bass Heritage Inns. They generally have stone floors, dried hops draped from wooden beams,
a "modern, traditional" menu and one or two Bass hand-pulled beers on offer. This is no exception, and
is kept very spruce and tidy inside. The bar is separate from the main restaurant area, and feels quite cosy in
comparison to it - the big bay windows overlooking Tadcaster Road add to this feeling of space. I took a quick
snap of the interior
for you to look at, and for me to feel a bit of a sap while doing it. I managed a nice picture of the fag machine.
Oh well. All in all, a nice and well tended pub for this side of town. |
