| This pub suffers by being located in the vicinity of many other more interesting attractions on Clifton Moor. The Tesco car park, for example. I used to swiftly quaff a Friday night pint in this place, while my Chinese takeaway cooked up in the nearby Oriental Pearl Restaurant, and never failed to become quite philisophical about it - that is, the question "What am I doing here?" always entered my head. They recently refurbished the pub, adding a Play Barn to the TV's, slot machines, restaurant, disco, quiz nights, cinema brochures, beer garden, adventure playground and God knows what else available to take your mind off the fact that you're drinking in a vacuum. | ||
