Jim's York Pub Guide |
|
|
| Big, roomy pub, first relief spotted as you exit the tourist infested Shambles. Inside, it's a bit dull and dank, and although they offer a beer garden it is pretty cramped and offers a view of some awful sixties architecture across the road. Not edifiying. Where's the northern wall? They have quite a lot of live music, advertise a big screen TV and thus substitute attractions instead of atmosphere. Try the nearby Blue Bell instead. | |
